TACHA is governed by a board of directors composed of up to 17 members elected by TACHA's membership at the annual meeting. The structure of the board provides equitable representation to ensure that all members regardless of size, geographic location, and industry classification have a voice in the operation of the association. The activities of TACHA are directed by the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Marketing Committee, Education Committee, Rules and Operations Committee, and the Membership Committee. The primary mission of TACHA is to promote ACH Growth by providing member institutions with the technical, operational, and educational support necessary to enhance awareness of the ACH payment network. TACHA provides member institutions with comprehensive guidelines and marketing support to encourage commercial and consumer usage of electronic funds transfer. It is TACHA’s goal to provide businesses and individuals with an efficient and economical alternative to paper-based payment systems through the ACH network.
